Remembering My Father

eklektik 270 11-11-2012 7

My father, age 16, in boot camp 1941. He served on the USS New Jersey when it was commissioned in 1943, through WWII in the Pacific, and until it's decommissioning in 1948. He passed away at the age of 76 and was given a Naval burial at sea. All designs from Legacy by Altered Emporium at Deviantscrap. Image of the USS New Jersey from Wikimedia courtesy of the Department of Defense. Thank you, Edeena, for making these designs available for this special day of honoring all our Veterans.
